STREET LEGAL Low Speed Vehicles
Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, DOT Tires, Certified Automotive Windshield, Rear View Mirrors on both sides, Seat belts, and VIN Number makes a Low Speed Vehicle legal on streets with 35 mph or less.
Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) are required by Washington State law to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 571 and the NEVs are in compliance.
The VIN number allows you to license the NEV to get a license plate. You can get insurance for your NEV just like you would for your car.
